EXO AND FFAA
Representatives of the Armed Forces carry out a check of the CDM together with Fernando González, Manager of EXO.

The Mobile Diagnostic Centre (CDM) was developed by the Argentinean company EXO in collaboration with the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Rosario (UNR). It allows for real-time patient monitoring and remote medical inter-consultation. In an extreme geographical and climatic context, this equipment has become a key support for the doctors of the Joint Antarctic Command.
It should be noted that every year, EXO trains the medical personnel who will work at the Antarctic bases in the use of the CDM.

González, EXO's Social Responsibility and Sustainability Manager, pointed out the importance of this type of equipment when it comes to saving lives, as it allows a paramedic, nurse or general practitioner to hold a videoconference (via the internet) with a specialist at the same time as performing and sharing four patient parameters (ECG, 12-lead electrocardiogram; PANI, Non-Invasive Arterial Pressure; SpO2, Oximetry, Blood Oxygen Saturation; and TEMP, Surface Temperature) in real time; PANI, Non Invasive Blood Pressure; SpO2, Oximetry, Blood Oxygen Saturation; and TEMP, Surface Temperature) in real time. The specialist can videoconference and receive the parameters on any computer or mobile device. Recorded studies can also be sent for remote assistance asynchronously.
