Buenos Aires, 21 May 2021 - EXO has donated a Mobile Diagnostic Centre that will be incorporated for the next training voyage of the ARA Libertad frigate, scheduled for July. The donation made by the company consists of a notebook integrated and adapted by software and electronics to perform electrocardiogram, respiration, oximetry (SpO2), heart rate, non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), and surface temperature.

One of the special features of the equipment is that the CDM is designed so that medical studies can be performed on board if necessary, recorded and transferred (via Wi-Fi, 3G-4G and satellite) to a specialist remotely in real time. The system allows data storage for further analysis or study and also offers the possibility of video conferencing.

During the ceremony, the Commander of the training ship of the Argentine Navy, Captain Osvaldo Raúl Chiñi, together with the Director of Health of the Navy, Captain Miguel Ángel Troitiño, and the Head of the Health Department of the ship, Lieutenant Commander Marcelo Adolfo Donaire, received the Manager of Social Responsibility and Sustainability of the computer company EXO, Fernando González, who presented and explained the advantages of the CDM.

"We are very proud to be able to make this donation to the frigate ARA Libertad, which will allow remote medical diagnoses and equip it with the latest telemedicine technology," said Fernando González of EXO. "In the coming weeks we will be training the health personnel so that they can incorporate the CDM in a satisfactory manner," said the executive.
