Within the framework of PIED (Plan for the Integration of Digital Spaces), the technological solutions company EXO S.A. has delivered 90 EXO Smart 3DFab X1 and 50 3DFab 12 equipment for the GCBA that were distributed by the different public schools of the City.

Middle, technical, normal and artistic schools are part of the so-called ¨Secundaria of futuro¨ promoted by the Ministry of Education and Innovation of the City of Buenos Aires which seeks to maximize the benefits of having a 3D printer in the classroom: encourage creativity and the ability to solve problems, increase and improve personal learning through the slogan ¨aprender creando¨ and generate more participation of students.

¨Una 3D printer is a machine capable of printing solid three-dimensional objects by placing a material in layers based on a digital model previously created by computer. Without the need for a mold, we can create everything from simple parts, prototypes and even final products. ¨

Technological facilitators and technical teams from Buenos Aires schools were trained by EXO personnel to face the new challenges of education and professional training. The training sessions were held in various government offices of the GCBA where teachers were introduced to 3D printing, as well as instructed in technical assistance for the resolution of frequent problems.
