Petrel Base

Once again EXO Argentina accompanies the Armed Forces in their expeditions of the Joint Antarctic Command. This time at the Petrel Base located north of the Antarctic Peninsula, which is projected as a strategic scientific facility that will have a pier and two runways that will allow air and sea access to the continent. There, work was carried out with EXO equipment such as the Mobile Diagnostic Center and the Rugged R9 Tablet.

The Mobile Diagnostic Center (CDM) was developed by the Argentine company EXO in collaboration with the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Rosario (UNR). It allows real-time patient monitoring and remote medical inter-consultation. In an extreme geographical and climatic context, this equipment has become a key support for the doctors of the Joint Antarctic Command.

EXO at Petrel Base

The Rugged R9 Tablet is a device that adapts to the most demanding working conditions. It is designed for areas where the protection of the device must be paramount in extreme conditions, as in the case of the Petrel Base where temperatures sometimes reach 30 degrees below zero. The EXO Rugged R9 tablet has water, dust and shock resistant protection. It has an average battery life of 14 hours, facial recognition, GPS, fingerprint reader and NFC (Near Field Contact) application.
